Kuching Landmarks : Old & New

Kuching Landmarks - To be gone soon is our good old Pasar Buildings, can be considered as a historical infrastructure where it served the RAKYAT for more than 1/2 century. It will definitely stay in our memory forever.
Across the river with a lot of lights shinning, is our so called PALACE, (Brooke's Palace initially).
The far tall building is our Wisma Bapa Malaysia, where most of the major Sarawak State Agencies are.

Just across the Sarawak River a new oval shape of building under construction, is the new DUN building, which will be Kuching new landmarks.

i wonder what will they do with the market...make it as a flower garden so that they can have a better view from the DUN next time? haha...

The plan is to extend the 'water front' park til the old market.
So that more people can be accommodated for 'lepak-ing' there..hahaha...
